The full map, which can be downloaded here, shows studios and galleries as far north as Young Street and as far west as Hunter. The 2009 Go North! tour is scheduled for Sept. 12.

This snippet from the eighth edition of the Halifax Art Map shows at least a dozen artist galleries in the North End. There are 25,000 printed copies of the full HRM version available in galleries and shops. The online version provides links to artists’ bios and images of their work.
